Facts About Pluto

• Is a Dwarf Planet
• Used to be called the X Planet
• Could have been named Zeus, Atlas or Vulcan
• Satellites are Charon, Nix and Hydra
• Was first spotted at the Pluto Dome
• Surface is thought to be made up of rock and ice.
  The ice is made of nitrogen, not water.

Reflections

• It surprised me that Plutos matter can fit
  in the matter of the United States! But I still
  wonder if Pluto will be shifted away from
  posters, books and websites about the planets. I
  also wonder if our technology will ever be good
  enough to land on Plutos icy surface.

Conclusions

• Overall, the study of Pluto was difficult
  because of its changing status. I found it hard
  to find updated information. I liked finding new
  facts because it was challenging to find any at
  all! I still have the question will a new type
  of spacecraft ever be built to land on Pluto? Or
  will all research of it as an important subject
  be forgotten? I hope to find out more on this
  wondrous object in space! ?
