Forward
Today's Warfighter, Soldier, Sailor,
Marine, and Airman, has more information
available to him, through the use of radios
systems capable of supporting everything from
Secure Voice, interface to the global networks,
available imagery, tactical data links, the
Common Operating Picture, and Global Command and
Control.

JITCs Mission
? To support the DOD's C4I goals by providing
test, evaluation, assessment, and certification
services for the JS, CINCs, JTFs, Services,
Agencies, allies and private industry. To provide
technical expertise in response to C/S/A requests
for assistance. ? DoD Directive 4630.5, DoD
Instruction 4630.8, and CJCS Instruction 6212.01
outline the basic interoperability and standards
conformance requirements, and identifies the JITC
as DISAs test center for certification of such
requirements.
