Benjamin Franklin was a man of many talents. He
spent many years as an amazing publisher and
statesman in the formative years of America.
However, Bens natural curiosity about science
altered his life tremendously. With inventions
in mind, he was now able to influence the world
in a new way!

• To explore Bens invention of the Lightning Rod,
• To witness Bens uses of the Kite,
• To become familiar with Bens Armonica,
• To learn more about the Franklin Stove, and
• To better see the Bifocal invention.

Process One

• Bens fascination with electricity led to the
  invention of the Lightning Rod.
• It is a tool that has been used widely since its
  introduction.

Process Two

• Ben made use of the kite to transmit electricity
  through lightning.
• This was a dangerous task that should not be
  repeated.

Process Three

• Ben enjoyed music so much that he invented the
  Glass Armonica.
• This brought him the most personal satisfaction
  of all inventions.

• Ben invented a furnace that would be centered in
  a room to produce more heat.
• This became known as the Philadelphia Franklin
  Stove.

• Ben created the Bifocals so that he would not
  have to carry two separate pairs of glasses.
• This invention is very common even today.

Conclusion

• Benjamin Franklin is widely known for his
  contributions as a founding father of the United
  States. He is also recognized as a renowned
  inventor of his time. Bens contributions to
  society have inducted him into our history books
  forever!
