  • Conduct a campus check-list to review the
    impression visitors and students have of your
    campus, e.g. is it clean does it contain
    adequate landscaping is there a recycling
    program on campus etc. 
  • Conduct a survey of how garbage, food,
    recyclables, etc. are handled on campus and
    examining who manages these programs

  • Evaluate educational programs already established
    on campus and how the administration, faculty and
    students benefit from such programs
  • Research students attitudes about the campus
    environment and examine student groups and those

    on Keep America Beautiful materials including
    manuals, step-by-step instructions on developing
    your local organization
  • This training period will also incorporate
    activities and recommendations to help your

Certification
  • After completion of the certification
    requirements and Campus Assessment Survey by the
    eligible school, the trainer will
  • Conduct advisory board training and work with
    campuses in planning and goal-setting to develop
    an action plan for the first year
  • Provide training for the campus affiliate
    director and help to announce the formation of
    the Campus Affiliate
