Non Transportation Zone Policy
(P6-10-001)

• Nontransportation zones shall be established in
  such a way that elementary school pupils will not
  be required to walk in excess of approximately
  three-tenths of a mile each way and no middle or
  high school pupil will be required to walk in
  excess of approximately one-half mile each way.
  School bus transportation is not provided
  students living in "nontransportation zones"
  except in cases of undue safety hazards or
  disabilities on the part of individual students.
