Egg

• The eggs are fertilized by the male.
• The frogspawn can contain as many as 4,000 eggs.

Tadpole

• Comes out of egg sac after about 10 days

• After 5 weeks, tadpole has lungs.

After 7 weeks, the tadpole eats insects.

• Between 8 14 weeks, the back legs and front
  legs have formed and the tail has disappeared.

• It will be 3 YEARS before the frog reaches
  maturity.
