What is Dual-Language Immersion ?

• English and Spanish-speaking students learn
  together for most of the day
• Academic subjects are taught in Spanish and
  English

• Home language of all students is maintained and
  developed while additional language is acquired.
• No language is dominant.
• Students learn to listen, speak, read, and write
  in two languages.
