• The British Standards Institution launched its
  Web version of the classification in June 2001
• BSI/DISC issued a separate publication of the
  Area Table for the United States of America and
  Canada, containing recent revisions at the end of
  2001.
• The publication of a multilingual version on
  CD-ROM, initially in English, French and Spanish,
  is under serious consideration.
• revised tables for Societies and Associations,
  Population and Demography, Biotechnology and
  Photography. An expanded schedule for the
  Orthodox Christian Church progress with class 61
  Medicine and on the revision of Chemistry work
  on a revision for Physics and for Theatre (to
  parallel the revised Cinema class) is in the
  pipeline.
