The purpose of social justice
  • The goal of social justice education is full and
equal participation of all groups in a society
that is mutually shaped to meet their needs.
Social justice includes a vision of society in
which the distribution of resources is equitable
and all members are physically and
    psychologically safe and secure.
  • A society in which individuals are both self
determining(able to develop to full capacities),
    and interdependent (capable of interacting
    democratically with others). Social justice
involves social actors who have a sense of their
own agency as well as a sense of social
responsibility toward and with others and the
    social as a whole.

The purpose of social justice
  • When social justice exists--- there is
inclusiveness, there is a affirming, there is
democracy and participation of all is encouraged,
there is no oppression, and all the isms
(racism, sexism etc) are taken care of for
    every one is treated equally.
  • In social justice- one group does not define what
is normal, real or correct for everyone. There is
no harassment ( no violence against women
    children or men), no discrimination,
exploitation, marginalization or other forms of
    differential unequal treatment. All cultures
are represented in a positive manner.
