BIG IDEAS

• Indie music independent bands that arent
  produced by a major record label.
  
• Indie Music is suppressed by the record industry,
  by buying out all the radio air-time so Indie
  bands have none.

Influences

• Bands like Fugazi, Bright Eyes, Elliot Smith,
  Badly Drawn Boy, The Aqabats, The Pixies,
  MeWithout you, The faces, The Shins, Flogging
  Molly, The Postal Service, Iron and Wine, and The
  Kinks.
• Lee Bontecou because her art is the coolest stuff
  ever. GO VACUUM FISH!

Process

• First we kind of just brainstormed, after we had
  our big ideas, we started thinking about how to
  materialize our image which was Indie getting
  squelched by mainstream music.
• Miss Kieling helped us a lot with narrowing down
  our processes and keeping our work focused on the
  message. She also came up with the word
  squelched.

• Cameron- favorite bands Thursday, Thrice, The
  Shins, Bright Eyes and Interpol.
  
• Brennan- favorite bands Flogging Molly, Elliot
  Smith, The Beatles, Death Cab for Cutie and Franz
  Ferdinand.
  
• Brad- Favorite bands MeWithout You, Misery
  Signals, Zao, and Dragon Force.
  
• Note Cameron and Brad have very different
  tastes.
  
• Cameron also like Brennans choices.
