6Psychology Minor
- Psychology may be used as the Science minor.
This is particularly relevant to LBES students. - Nevertheless, a minor in Psychology will fulfil
the BUGE requirements of LBSC.
7Bachelor of Science (Honours)
Students with credit level performance throughout
LBSC can progress to the Honours one-year program
LHSC in which they can further their study in
their elected discipline major. This could lead
to postgraduate study.

Nanotechnology and biotechnology are growing
industries in Australia and have been identified
as key research areas by the Australian Research
Council. Students who have studied some physics
and chemistry can apply for a special Bachelor of
Science (Honours) scholarship offered by the Ian
Wark Research Institute LHSC (Nano-
Biomaterials).
