Body Posture
Keep eyes on the copy
Body centered opposite to the J key, upper part
leaning slightly forward, elbows a hands distance
from the body
Arms and wrists steady, fingers on the home
keys And close to the keyboard In a scratch-like
position
Feet flat on the floor

Getting Ready
  • Before you begin to type, you need to know a few
    thing about computer screen.
  • Insertion point- is a mark on that blinks on the
    screen and it appears where text will be entered
    (l or _ )
  • Word wrap-is when words wrap to the next line
  • Scrolling-is when the text is moved up and down
  • Arrow keys-are used to move the insertion point
    up, down, left, and right
