Reducing DNAs

• Initial validation of waiting lists Echo
  reduced by 33, sleep studies 28
• Telephoning to confirm appointment urology
  decreased DNA rate from 50! To less than10
  (small numbers)

• Vascular all new vascular surgery patients
• Neurophysiology - CTS
• Cardiology Heart failure
• Greatly reduce number of outpatient consultant
  follow up appointments but also reduces DNA rate
  and increases patient satisfaction (PPI)
