ScanIT is BMIs entry level barcode scanning
system that is designed to interface with the
your Infinite Visions (Enterprise Edition) fixed
asset module. Using an HT-630 scanner that is
loaded with valid Asset Tag s makes taking an
inventory easy. BMIs ScanIT allows you to scan
only bar-coded asset tags with the scanner. The
updated asset file with the current location code
and inventory date is exported from ScanIT. The
file is now available for importing and posting
to your fixed asset module utilizing the Infinite
Visions (Enterprise Edition) Interface.

• ScanIT Product Summary
• ScanIT is designed for the client that wants to
  use a barcode scanner to automate their fixed
  asset inventory process. ScanIT requires that all
  of your assets are bar-coded. A Missing asset
  report has to be created or available in Infinite
  Visions (Enterprise Edition) . ScanIT is
  recommended for entry level clients who have
  accurate data and want to stop using a manual
  check-off inventory process.

AssetTrak Basic is BMIs entry level Pocket PC
barcode scanning system designed to interface
with the Infinite Visions Enterprise Edition or
Version 2.x fixed asset module. A physical
inventory using a Pocket PC scanner is synced
with the AssetTrak Basic Database. AssetTrak
Basic allows you to view, edit report on the
assets scanned. The updated asset file is
exported from AssetTrak Basic. The file is now
available for importing and posting to your
Infinite Visions Enterprise Edition or Version
2.x fixed asset module. View the BMI Product

AssetTrak Basic Product Summary AssetTrak Basic

inventory process. AssetTrak Basic requires that
all of your assets currently have a bar-coded or
RFID asset tag. AssetTrak Basic includes
reporting on scanned data. You can also view and
edit scanned asset records before uploading and
posting to Infinite Visions. Missing asset
reports need to be created in Infinite Visions.
AssetTrak Basic is recommended for entry level
clients who want the advanced features of a
Pocket PC scanner and want the option to upgrade
to the more advanced AssetTrak PPC at a later

AssetTrak PPC is BMIs most advanced barcode
scanning and data management system, designed to
interface with the your fixed asset module.
Exporting the Infinite Visions (Enterprise
Edition) master file and importing it into
AssetTrak PPC allows for automated barcode
scanning and reporting. AssetTrak PPC compares
scanned asset data with your current data and
automatically updates the changes. The updated
asset file is exported from AssetTrak PPC and
can be imported to your Infinite Visions
(Enterprise Edition) fixed asset module.
AssetTrak PPC also allows for easy conversion to
bar-coded or RFID Tags if required.

Barcode RFID Scanning
RFID scanning does NOT require Line of Sight.
The scanning distance ranges from 1 to 10 feet,
depending on the scanner, tag size, tag type
scanner used
BMI offers a Bluetooth RFID scanner (BDF-9000)
that works with the PA 600. This system is
recommended when a majority of your tags are
barcodes. The CSL-CS101 is recommended when a
majority of your tags are RFID tags. The scanning
range for the CS-101 is 2 to 10 feet
