Aims of the Project

• To help young children between 3-7 years to lose
  fears of doctors and the hospital environment in
  a playful and non- threatening way
• 2) Establishing good rapport and communication
  skills between the children and the medical
  students
• 3) Giving medical insight to children
• 4) Providing an opportunity for medical
  students to know more about paediatrics
• 5) Providing a fun-filled and enjoyable time for
  the children and students

What happens...

• Arrive and set up
• Class brought in introduction.
• Divided into groups
• 2 x workshops
• Teddy bear Consultations.

• Try to establish a rapport with the child some
  will be shy
• BUT OTHERS will be lively and full of ideas ...
