• The UNO is a microcontroller board based on the
  ATmega3289.
• It has a 14 digital output/input pins.
• Uno" means "One" in Italian .
• The Uno differs from all preceding boards in that
  it does not use the FTDI USB-to-serial driver
  chip.
• A popular platform for DIY projects.
•  It contains everything needed to support the
  microcontroller simply connect it to a computer
  with a USB cable or power it with a AC-to-DC
  adapter .
• Arduino UNO boards are used in different
  projects.
• Adriano UNO R3 also adds SDA and SCL pins next to
  the AREF.
• Arduino is an open-source platform used for
  building electronics projects.
