  • To provide the forum for the dissemination of
    practical drilling technology to those employed
    or interested in the drilling industry.

    environment in which it co-exists.

ABOUT AADE
  • AADE was founded in New Orleans in 1978 and is
    made up of an affiliation of nine independent
    chapters licensed and governed by an AADE
    National Board.
  • The American Association of Drilling Engineers is
    a non-profit (IRS 501-6C), volunteer
    organization.

  • National membership has 5,000 active members
    and is increasing despite the fluctuations
    experienced by the industry.

  • AADE offers a forum for the exchange of
    information, among its members and guests,
    specifically on drilling related topics.

AADE MEETINGS
  • Most AADE chapters meet once a month where
    programs are presented by knowledgeable Industry
    leaders in an informal business luncheon or
    dinner environment.

AADE CONFERENCES
  • AADE chapters also offer all-day forums as
    well as annual multi-day technical conferences to
    provide the opportunity for industry experts to
    present in depth coverage on current topics and
    latest technology.

AADE COMMUNICATIONS
  • The AADE National Board as well as the AADE
    chapters publish newsletters and maintain web
    pages to keep members informed of AADE activities
    and local drilling industry and community
    information.

  • AADE Chapters provide multiple social events
    to generate the membership growth and the
    financial support needed to achieve AADEs
    Mission, Vision and Values.

AADE KNOWLEDGE BOXEDUCATION OUTREACH
  • AADE in conjunction with the Offshore Energy
    Center sponsor the Knowledge Box Education
    Outreach Exhibit and Program which includes the
    Project Expanding Energy Education (PE3)
    Teachers Guide.
  • This program is filling the vacuum in the area of
    energy education in the public domain and
    specifically targets K - 12 grade students with
    an energy related curriculum.
  • Multiple AADE Chapters also sponsor Student
    Sections at over 15 universities and colleges
    across the United States.

  • The official publication of the AADE American
    Driller is sponsored by the Oil Gas Journal.
  • AADE management encourages AADE participants to
    contribute to and advertise in this publication.
