    structure for PRICP to accept DS3 connection from
    Global Crossing. No need for campus visits.

    not currently involved.

    Utilizing Internet 2 - All schools on Internet 2
    and those interested in I2, across communities,
    were convened at UT-El Paso. Engaged with Dan
    Atkins, U. of Michigan, into a STC grant to
    collaborate on co-laboratories.

    A subsequent follow-up meeting occurred, and
    there is a need for further discussion.

  • Ramon Harris presented a workshop on technology
    strategic planning to the Southern California
    regional group at Cal State, San Bernardino.
    Very well received, and there is a need for
    further development.

  • Network Resource Startup Center (NRSC) assisted
    Arizona Western College with assessing their
    campus network and assisting with an RFP to
    upgrade their network.
