HYDRILLA

Hydrilla is the most common aquatic plant in Lake
George. Hydrilla takes up 92 of Lake George.

HYACINTH

Hyacinth is a beautiful water plant and the
biggest aquatic pest. They clog water ways and
make them impenetrable.

EEL GRASS

Eel grass is often mistaken for seaweed, but it
is actually a flowering plant. It produces food
for many species on the low end of the food
chain. It is a good indicator for water quality.
