WHAT IS SLIPPED DISC?

• A slipped disc is the swelling in the cushion
  between the vertebra (individual bones of the
  spine).

• This cushion between the vertebra is called a
  disc and is filled with a gel-like substance that
  provides the mobility and flexibility to the
  spine.
