ABOUT
In 2005 my wife Eileen and I made the move to the
UK to set up a boarding and consigning business.
We were very lucky to find Shutford Stud after
only a year in the UK and this is where we began
our fledgling business. We now sell over 30
yearlings a year and a similar sized draught of
foals each year. Our walk in mare business has
developed over the years as has our full time
boarders. In 2012 we started a very exciting
Enterprise Investment Scheme for pinhooking, KHP
Thoroughbreds Ltd, details of which can be found

SERVICES
BROODMARES Over 140 acres of post and railed
stud fencing with excellent drainage in all our
paddocks which ensures plenty of winter grazing
is available. 6 indoor turn out barns for harsh
winters or hot summers. Veterinary room complete
with stocks for mare examination.

FOALING
Dedicated foaling yard with foaling boxes
installed with CCTV and foaling alarms on the
mares, solarium and veterinary room. Nursery
paddocks for young foals and for foalsthat
require restricted exercise. 6 indoor turn out
barns for early foalers to be turned out in day
and night.

SALES PREPARATION
Miles of excellent lanes for hand walking foals
and yearlings. A covered horse walker and lunge
arena for exercising. Nursery paddocks for
restricted grazing and turn out.
