A Little About Medicine Wheels

• The term "medicine wheel" was first applied to
  the Big Horn Medicine Wheel located on Medicine
  Mountain in Wyoming
• Almost all medicine wheels have at least two of
  the following characteristics
• Center cairn, a conical heap of stones built as a
  monument or landmark
• Outer ring
• Spokes

• Divided into four quadrants
• Each quadrant represents one of four colors
• Red, white, yellow, and purple
• Each quadrant is separated into five sections
• The garden is taken care of by those who adopt
  its sections. They arrange the plants and various
  objects found in the garden in a way that is
  meaningful to them.

Sue has adopted 3 sections of the white
quadrant and 3 sections of the purple quadrant.
She has decided that this is too much for her to
take care of and wants to give back 2 white
sections and 1 purple section.
