  • Open an account in the German Bank from India as
    soon as
  • the student receives the offer letter.
  • Collect your Visa Application forms from the VFS
    office.
  • Fill up the form and fix up a date for the visa
    interview.

Germany Student Visa
  • A student visa is required by Indian students,
    who wish to pursue higher education in Germany
    and HAVE SECURED ADMISSION in a German college or
    University.
  • Applicants should apply for the visa in person at
    least 3 months prior to departure. The visa
    processing may take 4 12 weeks.
  • The Consulate General of the Federal Republic of
    Germany in Mumbai can only accept the visa
    applications from persons residing in
    Maharashtra, Gujarat, Goa, Madhya Pradesh,

    pay a standard fee of 60 Euros by a bank draft in

    Germany, Mumbai/Chennai as the case may be.

    ("Sperrkonto") in Germany in the name of the
    applicant showing a minimum balance of Euro
    8.040,-and the remark that the account holder can
    dispose of a monthly amount of EURO 670,-
