1. DEVELOPMENTAL STUTTERING

• It commonly affects children below five years of
  age during the development of their communicative
  abilities.
• It is said to be more common in boys, and it

2. ACQUIRED STUTTERING

I. NEUROGENIC TYPE

• It is of neurogenic type if it is caused by
  incidents that cause abnormalities in the signals
