Downstairs there is a cozy bedroom with two
double beds and its own bath. Upstairs is the
main living area and a fully equipped kitchen
with lots of counter space so you can cook with
the whole family. The living room has two comfy
couches and two large chairs sitting across from
a flat screen TV. The master bedroom is located
upstairs and has a king sized bed and private
bathroom. There is also a sitting area and TV in
the master bedroom. The other upstairs bedroom is
cute, colorful, and has two twin beds. This room
is perfect kids. Another full sized bathroom is
located upstairs with a shower. Come stay at

kayaking, fun, and memories! For some,  summer
may be their favorite time to visit us, but to
others fall and winter are the greatest seasons
of all! During the off season, it is quite. We
have Winter Texans that escape the cold up North,
couples that are looking for a scenic getaway and
lots of WEDDINGS! If you havent been in the off

Frio Country Resort also known as Frio Country
Cabins or Frio Country was established by Kenneth
Barbara Arthur in 1981. What began as a dream
for the Arthur family with a few campsites and a
couple of cabins has become a family tradition
for thousands of extended family throughout the
years! The Arthurs wanted every guest to become
part of the Frio Family and enjoy the beauty of
the Texas Hill Country the way they loved it.
