HOW DOES THAT MRI SCAN WORK ??

• When you lie under a powerful scanner magnet, the
  protons in your body line up in the same
  direction.
• Short bursts of radio waves are sent to certain
  areas of body, knocking out the protons
  realignment.
• The radio waves are turned off and protons
  realign .
• This sends out the radio signals which are picked
  by the receiver.
• This signals provide info about exact location of
  protons in the body
