Title: Chartered Affiliates Committee Summit Award Change Proposal
1Chartered Affiliates CommitteeSummit Award
Change Proposal
- S The current Summit Award application and
scoring process is not well defined, clumsy,
subjective and can be unfair to the smaller
states - B The process is difficult and the committee
frequently relies on subjective verbiage to
determine which affiliate deserves to win the
award - A The application and scoring process needs to be
changed to better and more objectively evaluate
our Affiliates work and to more easily be able
to recognize excellence for all Affiliates
submitting applications - R The committee recommends that the HOD approve
the new application and scoring process we have
come up with.
2Chartered Affiliates CommitteeSummit Award
Change Proposal
- Current Application
- The Affiliate has to answer various questions
about education, membership, public awareness,
advocacy and benefits to the membership. - There is no definition and it is left up to the
person filling out the application to answer the
questions. - There is an opportunity for the applicant to
submit written documentation to explain how the
Affiliate has met the above questions. - It seems like the person who has the best writing
skills gets scored the highest
