What is Asthma?
If someone faces the shortness of breath or hear
a whistling sound whenever they do, it may be
because of the Asthma. It is a respiratory
disease caused by the narrowing of the airways
because of the responses to the trigger, such as
exposure to cold air allergens and heavy
exercise. There are two types of asthma allergic
and non-allergic. Both of these types can be
cured through Ayurveda and we will cover the most
of the things in this presentation.

Ayurvedic Asthma Treatment
At Boolchand Ayurveda, we consider bad digestion,
as a major cause. We believe when the body is
weak, it becomes oversensitive to dust, pollen
and other substances which trigger an asthma
attack. So, we focus on restoring digestion with
herbal preparations and the right diet chart.

Diet Lifestyle Advice
Consume honey and herbal teas Take sprouts,
nuts and seeds in appropriate amounts. Avoid
milk products like cheese, curd, buttermilk,
creams, banana, etc. Avoid oily foods. Avoid
cold drinks. Practice Yoga and Pranayama
