In the Community

• Kappa Xi Omega Sorority Inc participates in
  various community service projects locally but we
  have seven (7) National Projects that All
  sorority members are required to participate in.
• Our National Trust is the National Diabetes
  Association. Five percent of all  total dues are
  donated to the National Diabetes Association at
  the end of our fiscal year.

• Other national Events are as follows Trick or
  Treating for Canned Goods Members of Kappa Xi
  Omega as well as Aspirants Trick or Treat for
  canned goods and other non perishable items to
  donate to shelters/soup kitchens within thier
  respective areas.
•  
• National Day of Service The last Friday of
  every November members of Kappa Xi Omega donate 8
  or more hours to nothing but volunteer work.
• Family Fun Day Kappa Xi Omega hosts an outting
  that is 100 free to the public . The sorority
  gives out prizes as well as school supplies for
  grades K-12th  ( click here for pics

• Notable November Kappa Xi Omega participates in
  all things "diabetes" for the month of November
• Cell Phone Donation Year round Kappa Xi Omega
  collects cell phones to donate to the National
  Center Against Domestic Violence. To make a
  donation of a cell phone please email us at

• Adopt a Class All members of Kappa Xi Omega are
  required to volunteer with a school in their area

Short Term Goals

• Within the next 2-5 years we plan to have the
  following accomplished or in the works
• Political Action Commission this commission
  will monitor all Federal legislation concerning
  LGBT rights, formulate petitions and develop 
  partnerships with organizations such as the HRC,
  NOW and Black Justice Coalition to help protect
  our rights and fight for changeKappa Angel
  Network in all areas represented by Kappa Xi
  Omega Sorority Inc KAN is a 6 month mentoring
  program for young minority girls between the ages
  of 9-17. Membership representation within 5 of
  our seven regionsFirst national convention in
  February 2007Membership increase to 25-40
  members  ( the numbers are realistic when
  considering the market and the amount of work is
  involved)Completion of every community service
  project in all areas represented by Kappa Xi
  Omega4  Family Fun Days per year ( one our
  signature programs) Three operating chapters
  Four operating colonies 3 National Intakes
  per yearFirst 2500 scholarship awardedThis is
