My Background

  • Manager at a boutique NYC consulting firm
    managing clients to ensure they are in compliance
    with SEC regulations and General Accepted
    Accounting Principles. Worked with several
    Venture Capital firms and private companies
    performing financial buy-side due diligence of
    companies undergoing funding, as well as
    preparing financial statements and footnotes for
    companies readying themselves for an initial
    public offering. Developed and led the Sarbanes
    Oxley Group for this Emerging Business Group and
    later developed its due diligence practice area.
  • Manager of internal controls for a global
    advertising and media corporation ensuring
    compliance with the Sarbanes Oxley Act for its
    global subsidiaries and performed balance sheet
    reviews and GAAP reconciliations at those
    international offices.
  • Director of fraud investigations in a global life
    insurance companys internal audit department
    performing investigations of misappropriations
    of Company funds, identity theft and other acts
    of fraud as well as perform fraud training and
    awareness.
  • Senior Consultant in a "Big Four" accounting firm
    providing investigative, advisory and litigation
    services in their forensic and litigation group.
  • Financial Analyst for the Federal Bureau of
    Investigation performing forensic accounting and
    analysis in investigations into white-collar
    crime, public corruption, and other violations of
    federal statutes.
