2 Don'ts in IELTS Speaking 3 1) Do Not Go Off the Topic
One of the most important things for IELTS speaking is task achievement. Make sure you listen to the topic clearly and evidently. Do not mention anything which is not required or not to the point. Speaking out of the topic not only confuses you but also the examiner that will drastically affect your band scores.
4 2) Do Not Pause a Lot
Everyone has a tendency to speak with pauses and come up with new ideas, but not in IELTS speaking examination. Any pause taken will deduct marks in the speaking section. And a lot of pauses also end up in disrupting the oral fluency.
5 Dos in IELTS Speaking 6 1) Clear and Audible
The most important factor while speaking is that you should always be clear and audible to the examiner. Each and every idea expressed by you should be full of clarity and devoid of ambiguity or vague content. Try not to be too loud or too soft when you speak. Clarity is the key to a perfect IELTS Speaking.
7 2) Speak for 2 Minutes
You should always complete the 2-minute duration for speaking. If you fall short of words, express your opinion by giving examples, but make sure that you do not stop before the examiner asks you to, as task achievement is also imperative when you speak IELTS speaking test.
