Music is something that human beings have been
associated with a significantly longer period of
time. It is estimated that people have been into
music even before civilization began, since the
time period of hunters and gatherers itself.

Gradually, with the discovery and use of metals
and plastics, the musical instruments had better
quality and people could create a wide variety of
music from different types of musical
instruments.
The usual types of musical instruments, even
relevant to this date are as follows

The cassette magnetic tapes were then worked on
and came the VHS, Video Home System. This brought
a massive revelation in the music
industry.Gradually, people thought the VHS tapes
were bulky and not comfortable enough to use.
With that, came the era of compact discs.

The era of compact discs literally defined the
uprising of the music industry to unprecedented
levels. Various labels, singers or bands would
release their custom printed CDs to the public.
The custom artwork gave those particular bands a
sense of uniqueness among their peers.
There were three ways in which people could play
and listen to their favorite music

CD Player
Portable CD Player/Walkman
Music Stores

The era of SD cards came thereafter. The
incredibly reduced size of the storage device
mesmerized people. Then, the trend of using or
being connected to the internet gave rise to the
next option - Digital Streaming. Now, people are
not saving the songs themselves.
Hopefully, in the coming years, we will be able
to see some mind-boggling advancements in the
storage aspect of the music industry. Surely it
will be something that will reduce any kind of
effort before heading over to listen to
something.
