Standby Letter of Credit Information
Standby Letter of Credit or SBLC- MT760 is a
payment assurance issued by a bank on behalf of
its client. SBLC works as a backup, in case the
buyer didnt accomplish to pay the seller as per
their contract agreement. Standby letter of
Credit creates good faith and trust in commercial
transactions and proves that the buyer is capable

Standby Letter of Credit Process
  • The buyer needs to submit the required documents
    of their trade deal like Pro Forma invoice or
    Sales and Purchase agreement to BWT.
  • After reviewing the trade documents, BWT will
    instantly inform them if their SBLC request have
    been approved or rejected.
  • If approved, BWT will sign the service agreement
    with the client and inform the admin fee charges.
  • Upon the signed service agreement admin fee
    charges, we will send the SBLC draft for the
    client review.
  • Once we receive the draft approval from the
    client, we will ask them to pay the issuance fee
    charges and to provide further documents.
  • After we received the requested documents and the
    SBLC issuance fee charges, BWT will act instantly
    to provide the request SBLC from our European
    Bank account.
  • This SBLC will be issued on behalf of the buyer
    company and in favor of the supplier via swift
    MT760.
