weight-not too thin or too fat. The world is
running after strategies, diet and exercise for
reducing weight. But there are some individuals
who are not gaining weight. According to
Ayurvedic Medicine, Vata Doshas body fails to
gain weight.

Soybean
Soybeans are excellent source of protein for
vegetarians. It increases weight.

If you are non-vegetarian, eat eggs daily for
weight gain.

Dairy Products
Include curd and ghee in lunch daily. You can
drink a glass of milk after dinner, which is good
for gaining weight.
Exercise regularly
Gaining weight does not necessarily mean you will
stop moving. Exercise regularly to maintain your
metabolism and increasing appetite. Exercise
increases endorphins and keeps you in good mood.

Drink lots of Water
Water flushes the toxins out of the body and keep

Eat in a calm and noise free environment
Eating in a calm place is good for sound mind and
body. Concentrate on what you are eating and
avoid watching TV while eating.

Sleeping for 6-7 hours daily is essential to run
the body machine daily. It keeps the Circadian
rhythm going well, which controls all hormonal
and systematics mechanisms to run smoothly.

Self-body massage or Abhyanga in Ayurvedic
Medicine with dosha specific oil. Massaging
improves the circulation of the body and helps in
the proper distribution of nutrients. Generally,
sesame oil is preferred for self-massage.
