- An international project in which teachers and
students collect, report, explore, share, and map
various kinds of environmental data - It is an active learning environment which
integrates science, math, geography, technology,
and communication - Because students and teachers can participate
year after year, they contribute in an ongoing
way to building the international knowledge base - The Fresno area is very active in GLOBE

Relative Humidity - HYDROLOGY/WATER CHEMISTRY STUDIES
- Surface Water Temperature, Water Chemistry (pH,
alkalinity, dissolved oxygen, salinity, nitrates,
electrical conductivity), Transparency,
Macroinvertebrates - SOILS/SOIL MOISTURE STUDIES
- Soil Moisture, Soil Temperature, Soil
Characterization (structure, color, consistence,
