• Water and sanitation is prioritised by the poor
  but not by governments
• A lack of voice and presence at a global
  level
• Taps and toilets are political
• Campaigning together works

• Bring together a vibrant global movement acting
  together around key processes
• Force an extraordinary government-led effort to
  achieve sanitation and water for all

• Global Action Plan for sanitation and water
• An annual review and high-level meeting
• Development of national water and sanitation
  plans
• No national plan should fail through lack of
  finance

• 3. Water resources to protected, managed
  effectively and equitably shared

  Africa by 2bn by 2010
• G8 focus did not deliver, but undeniable
  progress on agenda, recognised as urgent, and
  process begun for G8 2009

  and measurable outcomes
