Student Assessment
  • In establishing the 4-year plan and portfolio,
    students are exposed to
  • assessments that aid them in the process and help
    to determine a
  • pathway.
  • Through Choices Planner, these assessments are
    available
  • Career Finder - students select careers based on
    questions that help to assess what they are best
    suited for.
  • Interest Profiler - questions that help the
    student find a career based on their interest.
    180 questions. It takes approx. 10 - 20 min.
  • Work Values Sorter - connect work values w/
    careers. The student ranks 20 values in 5 - 15
    min.
  • Basic Skills Survey - find out which basic skills
    are required for certain careers. Students select
    skills in 10 areas in about  10 - 15 mins.
  • Cluster Finder - find the career clusters that
    best matches student interests by looking at
    activities they like, personal qualities, and
    school subjects. It takes 15 - 25 min.

  • Additional assessments available in Bridges
  • Do What You Are - High School Myers Briggs -
    takes 30 - 45 min. and it is an online self-
    discovery assessment. It reveals valuable clues
    about a student's strengths, weaknesses, career
    paths, and college majors.
  • Learning Styles - assessment takes 30 min. and it
    is an online learning style inventory.
  • Ability Profiler - a multi-aptitude ability
    assessment. There are 6 sections. Timed test.
    Each test may be taken separately.
  • Arithmetic reasoning 18 questions - 20 min.
  • Computation 40 questions - 6min.
  • Vocabulary 9 questions - 8 min.
  • Name comparison - 90 questions - 6 min.
  • Three- dimensional - 20 questions - 8 min.
  • Object matching - 42 questions - 5 min.

    graduation from C-FBISD which promotes concept of
    life-long learning
  • EPS encourages students to investigate explore
    a wide range of educational career
    opportunities 24/7 using on-demand technology
  • Students understand the relevancy of pursuing
    math, science and other high level courses needed
    to be successful in attaining future goals
  • EPS provides transition from high school to
    post-secondary education, military service, and
    entry into the job market
  • And, EPS brings campus administrators, CTE
    academic teachers, counselors and parents
    together to accomplish a common goal to benefit
    ALL students.
