University Definitions
  • First Time Full Time freshmen
  • Graduated from high school within the last year
    or have never before enrolled at NAU
  • Are enrolled for 12 or more credit hours
  • Are transferring fewer than 12 credit hours
  • First Time Part Time freshmen
  • Graduated from high school within the last year
    or have never before enrolled at NAU
  • Are enrolled for 11 or fewer credit hours
  • May be carrying 12 hours or more hours with
    remedial or other hours at the community college
  • Are transferring fewer than 12 credit hours

  • On average,
  • NASS serves 484 students each year.
  • 27 (132) of these students are new (freshmen
    transfers) to NAU each year.
  • 260 Native Americans are new (freshmen
    transfers) to NAU each year.
