Why do we need to change?

• Constitution requires all lodges must have
  liability insurance.
• To provide consistency in insurance coverage and
  limits.
• Expiring Grand Lodge liability policy is
  inadequate.
• Current policy does not cover all todays
  activities.
• Renewal of expiring policy would have increased
  cost by 20 - 40.
• A master contract will reduce the cost to
  individual lodges.

The Expiring Policy

• Grand Lodge policy assumed primary coverage
  existed for each lodge.
• Provided only supplementary insurance for
  constituent lodges.
• Single aggregate limit of 2 Million dollars
  covered the entire state.
• Policy coverage did not cover all appendant
  bodies.

The Proposed Policy

• Provides primary coverage for Grand Lodge and all
  constituent lodges and bodies.
• The limits of liability including the Aggregate
  apply to each location.
• Covers all lodge activities on and off site.
• Provides coverage for lodge activities open to
  the public.
• Offers coverage for ownership entities of lodges.
• Additional coverage for premises rented to others
  for an additional premium as it applies.

Coverage and Limits

• 1 Million dollars per Occurrence / 2 Million
  dollar Aggregate per location.
• 10,000 per person for medical payments.
• 500,000 Property Damage Legal Liability.
• Includes Products / Completed Operations,
  Personal Injury, Advertising Liability, Hired and
  Non-Owned Auto.

Annual Cost

• Lodge Members 0.778 per member.
• Constituent Lodges with Owned Premises 125.00
  flat fee.
• Activities off-premises 5.00 flat fee per lodge.
• Exhibitions on premises 5.00 flat fee per lodge.

Non-Masonic Exposures

• Apartment Units 68.68 per unit.
• Premises Rented to Others Lessors Risk 41.94
  per 100 sq. ft.
