Activity.Step 1
  • Form groups of either districts or grade level
    groups
  • Individually, take a moment to write down your
    own personal beliefs
  • Allow time for everyone in your group to reflect

  • Within your group, share what you have written
    and find the similarities
  • Mark those or jot in additional words or
    phrases.

  • Now, find the assumptions - those beliefs that
    are so common they are givens because of who
    you are and what you do.

    points from peoples beliefs and groups
    assumptions
