Right Click on Start/Explore/C/Windows or
Winnt/System or System32 Double click on
Wrkgadm.exe/Work Group Administrator Window

2. Click on Create and in Workgroup Owner
Information window fill in the blank spaces with
your own Information/ Click OK

3. In Workgroup Information file window type
A\SYSTEM1.MDW/OK

4. In Confirm Workgroup Information file window
click on change if you want to change the
information otherwise click on OK

5. In the Workgroup Administrator window You
have successfully Created the workgroup
information file A\SYSTEM1.MDW/Click OK

6. In Workgroup Administrator window you will see
your own Information then click on Join button.

7. In Database box in your own Workgroup
Information file window You will see
A\SYSTEM1.MDW, then click on OK button.

8. In workgroup Administrator window you will see
You have Successfully joined the workgroup
defined by the workgroup information A\SYSTEM.MDW
to MS-Access and Your Database, click OK .

9. You will see your own Workgroup Administrator
window again / Exit. Now you Created and Joined
your own Wrkgadm file with your database

  • Open your Database/Click on Tools/Security\User
    and Accounts

11. In User and Group Accounts window, click on
Groups button.

13. In New User/Group window Type Owners and

14. Click New and Type new Group and Personal ID

15. Type SuperUsers and any Personal ID lt PID
gt4 digits could be numbers / or characters

SuperUsers. Do the same steps (11 through 15)
to create any other Groups.

III. How to create a New User 17. Click on
Users button in Users and Group Accounts window

18. To create New User in Users box click on
New../type in New Users/Groups window Owner ,
and any PID/click OK.

19. In Group Membership box, click on Owners in
Available groups box and click on Add gtgt button.

20. Now you successfully created Owner as a new
user, and you added this user to be a Member of
Owners Group

21. To create SuperUser as a new user do 17
through 20 and you will get this window. Do
the same steps to create any other New User.

V. How to create Password 22. In Users and Group
Accounts window click Chang Logon Password

23. In Change Logon Password window type New
Password , and Verify it / OK.

24. Close MS-Access and start it again.

25. When you start Access, you will be asked to
enter Password for Admin name, then do it and
Press ok

26. Now you created a password for user name
Admin who is a member of Admins Group, and
you opened your Database as Admin.

to write the name in name box of Logon window
when you start Access without P.W./ OK
