• WHAT IS LOGISTICS?
• Logistics is that part of Supply Chain Management
  that plans, implements, and controls the
  efficient, effective flow and storage of goods,
  services and related information between the
  point of origin (distributors) and the point of
  consumption (customers) in order to meet all
  internal and external customer requirements.

• WHAT WE DO AT petPRO
• Co-ordinate with PROCUREMENT and WAREHOUSING in
  an on-going fashion
• Daily monitoring of all shipment facilities
  (freight carriers, storage facilities, and
  load/un-load procedures) to verify that petPROs
  strict policies in regards to TIME, TEMPERATURE,
  and WASTE are being followed.

• Continue what we do at petPRO
• Track incoming and outgoing shipments and report
  on the data to customers as they require the
  information
• Communicate with suppliers/customers to reach
  peak performance goals and move goods quickly and
  easily through the process.
• Analyse future material needs to minimize excess
  storage on our sites

• FUTURE GOALS AT petPRO
• Main goal is to Streamline our suppliers
• Plan is to reduce the number of raw food source
  suppliers by 50 over next 3 years.
• This will help to reduce costs, waste and allow
  for easier flow of goods into our facilities
• Institute Just-In-Time procedures for all raw
  materials needed by petPRO

• Set national contract with one freight carrier to
  ship all our product out, thus reducing vehicle
  movement on to our site.
• Create plan for distributing petPROs goods
  internationally within the next two year.
