  • If no label, bubble SAIS number accurately
  • Be certain program membership is correct in SAIS
    ELL is especially problematic
  • Test all students

Test Coordination
13
Test Coordination
  • Test Calendar AIMS DPA
  • Districts and Charter Operators must schedule 4
days of AIMS DPA testing within the testing
    window of April 3 21.
  • All schools and grades within a district or
charter must administer the AIMS DPA on the same
    four days.

Test Coordination
  • Test Calendar AIMS DPA
  • The content areas must be administered exactly as
described in the Test Coordinators Manual and in
    the Test Administration Directions.
  • Make-up testing is to be scheduled within the

appropriate test security and is required to sign
    a Test Security Agreement.
  • Agreements must be kept on file at school and

    informationTranscription of answers to regular
answer document for students using Braille or
Large Print or for students receiving certain
    accommodations on Writing
  • Returning Test Materials to Site Test
    CoordinatorCorrect GIS is essential.
  • Contact person for questionsEncourage teachers
to ask questions when in doubt.

  • Confirm completed answer document for every
    tested student
  • Confirm barcode label OR hand bubbled
    demographics
  • Confirm inventory counts of all tests
  • Confirm correct GISs and SGLs
  • Package materials for return to CTB correctly

27
Pre-Coded Barcode Labels
  • Only the Test Coordinator or Administrator should
place the barcode labels on the answer documents.
  • The label with the barcode should be placed on
the front of the answer document. Two barcode
labels are provided for your convenience.
  • High School should expect to receive two
deliveries of barcode labels (one set for W/R and
one set for Math). DPA will receive one
    set/delivery of labels.

Placement of Pre-Coded Barcode Labels
Pre-coded student barcode labels are to be placed
on the front of the student answer document in
the designated area. You must utilize only a
CTB-generated label with a barcode. Do not write
or mark in the designated barcode label space.
30
Unused Pre-Coded Barcode Labels
  • Do NOT retain unused barcode labels from the
Writing/Reading, Math, or DPA test sessions for
use in future test administrations. Pre-coded
labels are valid for the immediate testing
    session only!
  • If you place the wrong label on a student answer
document, obtain a new answer document and
utilize the extra barcode label provided.

31
Packaging Materials After Testing Organizing the
Answer Documents
  • Answer documents for DPA must be arranged
face-up, separated by grade, with the
corresponding pre-coded GIS placed on top.
  • You may further separate the answer documents by
group/class if you wish, but please be sure to
provide distinct identifying names for each group
under the Teacher Name (section 1) on the GIS.
