- If you receive a barcode label, precoded
slipsheet, or precoded answer document for a
student with the correct name and SAIS id use it! - If other demographic information is incorrect on

that data in SAIS.

- Inventory of Test MaterialsTest Coordinators are
responsible for a complete inventory of all test
materials both immediately upon receipt of the
test materials and throughout the testing
process. - Secure Storage of Test MaterialsTest materials
must be kept in locked storage when not in use
and must be returned daily to the custody of the
district or site test coordinator. - Return of Test MaterialsAll AIMS materials are
to be returned to CTB. Follow instructions in
TCM for TerraNova materials.

- Standardized Test AdministrationTests must be
administered exactly as stated in the Test
Coordinators Manual and the Test Administration

allow the use of inappropriate resources such as
word walls and calculators. Do not review student
answers. Do not change student answers. - Avoid Student Cheating Do not allow students to
share information during testing. Do not allow
the use of any electronic devices including cell
phones. Proctor the test appropriately.

- Breaches of test security are serious.
- Everyone who comes in contact with AIMS HS, AIMS
DPA, or TerraNova materials is responsible for
appropriate test security and is required to sign
a Test Security Agreement. - Agreements must be kept on file at school and
district offices. - One copy of the test security agreement (signed
by the district superintendent or charter
representative) must be faxed or mailed to the
ADE Assessment Section no later than February 10,
2006.

27Pre-Coded Barcode Labels
- Only the Test Coordinator or Administrator should
place the barcode labels on the answer documents.
- The label with the barcode should be placed on
the front of the answer document. Two barcode
labels are provided for your convenience. - High School should expect to receive two
deliveries of barcode labels (one set for W/R and
one set for Math). DPA will receive one
set/delivery of labels.

29Placement of Pre-Coded Barcode Labels
Pre-coded student barcode labels are to be placed
on the front of the student answer document in
the designated area. You must utilize only a
CTB-generated label with a barcode. Do not write
or mark in the designated barcode label space.
30Unused Pre-Coded Barcode Labels
- Do NOT retain unused barcode labels from the
Writing/Reading, Math, or DPA test sessions for
use in future test administrations. Pre-coded
labels are valid for the immediate testing
session only! - If you place the wrong label on a student answer
document, obtain a new answer document and
utilize the extra barcode label provided.
31Packaging Materials After Testing Organizing the
Answer Documents
- Answer documents for DPA must be arranged
face-up, separated by grade, with the
corresponding pre-coded GIS placed on top. - You may further separate the answer documents by
group/class if you wish, but please be sure to
provide distinct identifying names for each group
under the Teacher Name (section 1) on the GIS.
