- The Sustainable Technology Center at Santa Fe
Community College is a local, regional and
national learning center that focuses on
preparing students and the workforce for careers
in renewable energies, green building and other
emerging fields that result in economic and
community sustainability. The STC is recognized
as a leader in new education for a new economy,
advancing a learning environment that fosters
partnerships, broad participation and innovation

- Develop flexible and innovative on-ground and
online learning opportunities in renewable
energies, green building, environmental
technologies and other emerging sustainable
technologies - Ensure that the STC meets the learning needs of a
diverse population of new and re-careering
students - Model fiscally sound educational practices that
ensure the STC will have appropriate
state-of-the-art technology, equipment,
infrastructure, and faculty and staff - Meet ongoing needs of all stakeholders in
business and industry, education, and government
