  two best selling books on Web Design Web Page
  that suck Learn Good Design by Looking at poor
  Design and Son of Web page that suck. Hes
  also a speaker about Web Design especially the
  dissatisfactory or poor aspects of Web Design
  accessibility, and usability.
• Vincent graduated from Wabash College in 1974
  with a B.A. in Classics. He studies included
  ancient Greek language, art, philosophy,
  religion, theater, and poetry. Much of his web
  design theories are based on the ancient Greek
  ideas of moderation (sophrosyne), proportion, and
  beauty.

• Their e-mail Something Ive been seeing in a
  couple of web sites recently is the used of
  VBS(Visual Basic Script) for things like
  detecting what version of Macromedia Flash
  someone is running Something (of course, I have a
  few things to say about using Flash in the first
  place... -)
• The main reason this is annoying is that if
  you're behind a Firewall (as we are here) with
  even a vaguely decent level of security, it will
  block VBS scripts, thus rendering the entire site
  inaccessible...!
• It's annoying, and I've seen it at least three
  times so far, but one example is

• Admittedly it's not something you'd notice except
  in specific circumstances, but it's a good
  example of why you shouldn't use things that
  aren't an accepted web format. (I think so anyway
  ?.
