What is TSA ?

• Technology Student Association (TSA)
• TSA is a non-profit organization for students
  K-12 to learn about leadership, teamwork,
  problem-solving, technology and communication.

Which competitions?

• Research competitions on the websites
  www.tsaweb.org or www.wvtsa.org. Get the RULES
  from advisor!
• Choose ones that interest you.READ THE RULES
• You will need 3 competitions-only one competition
  will be a display/testing.READ THE RULES
• You will write up a proposal for those

• We will accept the best three proposals for each
  competition.
• If you fail to meet ANY deadlines you will not
  be considered for that competition.
• All fees must be paid prior to competitions.

Dates to Know

• A meeting schedule will be given to you tonight
• December will be proposal month. All proposals
  will be due by December 19th.
• Any competitions open after that will be filled
  by your advisor.
• All competitions will be filled by Jan. 16th.
• April 2- 4 Fall conference in Cedar Lakes.
• June 28-July 2nd National Conference in Denver
  Colorado

What do we need for TSA?

• Uniform blue blazer, gray pants, white shirt,
  TSA tie.
• The ability to pack ONE suitcase
• Good interpersonal skills
• Strong desire to be the best
• Money we will do various fundraisers
• State competition 90
• National competition - 200-500
• YOU MUST PLACE FIRST AT STATES TO ATTEND THE
  NATIONAL COMPETITION
• ALL FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE
