understand. No one considers, nor is there
knowledge or discernment to say, Half of it I
burned in the fire I also baked bread on its
coals I roasted meat and have eaten. And shall
I make the rest of it an abomination? Shall I
fall down before a block of wood?

5

    with God, (Mark 1027).

II. He is able to do what we ask
  • James 43 You ask and do not receive, because
you ask wrongly, to spend it on your passions.
  • 1 John 321-22 Beloved, if our heart does not
condemn us, we have confidence before God and
whatever we ask we receive from him, because we
keep his commandments and do what pleases him.

  • He is able to save.
  • Consequently, he is able to save to the
uttermost those who draw near to God through him,
since he always lives to make intercession for
    them, (Hebrews 725, ESV).

    within us.

    transgressions and sins, (Ephesians 21).
  • What more can be said? What can be added to
this? Nothing, but to ascribe glory to God.

13
Conclusion
  • Four things to know
  • 1. God must have our fully committed heart.
  • 2 Chronicles 169 The eyes of the Lord move to
and fro throughout the earth that He may strongly
support those whose heart is completely His.
  • We must also have faith.

    (pg. 1297)
  • 4. We must be ready to wait on the Lord Isaiah
    4028-31 (pg. 763-764).
