Do those terms describe my conduct in worship?
  • Do I usually arrive on time or am I frequently
    late?
  • If I frequently arrive late, is this a fruit of
attention or inattention toward Gods presence?
  • In the way I choose to present myself?
  • We are careful with our appearance for job
    interviews, weddings, business appointments
  • We consider appearance as a reflection of the
    importance of the event.
  • How do I present myself for the presence of God?

13
When we examine all the fruits of our reverence,
it is good to consider
  • We are usually attentive, even proactive, with
things that are important to us.
  • Inattentive behavior gives the appearance of a
    lack of importance or focus.
  • Its a bad example.
  • It can diminish my influence among my brethren.
  • It can demoralize my brethren.
  • We pursue the things which make for peace and
the building up of one another. (Romans 1419)
