  • There are some basic principles that apply for
    any grantno matter what their requirements are
    and their application form looks like.

  • Make sure you follow the organizations
    guidelines exactly. Dont use a proposal for more
    than one funding source.
  • Give an accurate budget. Dont pad but ask for
    what you need.
  • Write well.

  • Has the applicant accurately estimated the cots?

    (internet search, calls to airlines/hotels, etc.)

  • A summary of the projects relationship to the

  • A description of the primary sources available
    and where they are located.
