There could be various reasons why you would want
to reset your iPhone SE. Sometimes, the device
can get slow, and the only option to get its
speedy performance back is to reset the device.
There could be any problem with the device, such
as trouble with the UI, or you may want to erase
all the data that requires you to reset it. So if
you think that only reset can save your device,
then you must know about the various methods that
you can use like factory reset, force reset, DFU
mode, and recovery mode. For more

Use computer
  • Depending on the operating system you use, the
    computer can relatively take a longer time to
    take the back-up than iCloud. Follow these steps
    to continue
  • Connect for your devices with a USB cable.
  • If you are using macOS Catalina 10.15, then open
    Finder. For Windows (any version) and macOS
    Mojave 10.14 or earlier, open iTunes.
  • Click on Trust This Computer option or manually
    enter your iPhone password.
  • Then find your iPhone SE on the computer and
    click on Encrypt Backup to save health and
    activity data.
  • Create a password, then click on the Back Up Now
    option.

Use iCloud
  • Before you begin, dont forget to connect your
    iPhone SE with a Wi-Fi connection.
  • Head onto Settings and enter your name to go to
    iCloud.
  • Click on Back-up Now.
  • Wait for the device to take the backup of your
    files from the iCloud and then head onto the

Hard Reset
  • It is also known as force restarting, which is an
    effective procedure for times when your device
    becomes unresponsive, or the UI doesnt work
    properly. This method will not wipe your data,
    but it will reboot your phone to begin it from
    scratch. Follow these steps to use this method
  • Press and release the volume up button quickly.
  • Follow the same with the volume down button as
    well.
  • Press and hold the side button and release it
    when you find the Apple logo appearing on the
    screen.
